Japan brought the first 6G device
Japan made the world's first 6G device. It is a prototype that can transmit data at a speed of 100 Gbps per second over a distance of 300 feet. It is claimed to be 20 times better than the current 5G technology.
The 6G device is reportedly developed jointly by Japanese telecom companies including Docomo, NTT Corporation, NEC Corporation and Fujitsu. The results of this device were announced last month. It is claimed that the 6G prototype can achieve speeds of 100 Gbps using the 100 GHz band. To achieve the same speed outdoors, it uses the 300 GHz band.
According to a report, the 6G prototype was tested at a distance of 328 feet.
Currently, 5G technology is the most advanced for global connectivity. Its maximum speed is 10Gbps. However, the speed of 5G network is also different in different countries. Countries like America, China, Japan and India have also started working on 6G. It is believed that with the arrival of 6G, people will be able to communicate in real-time holographic. People are also expected to have new experiences in the world of virtual and mixed reality.
